Watch yourself!
Through out your days you will meet with those who will try to argue with you, pass on there anger to you, manipulate your energy for attention by trying to make you feel sorry for them or guilty.
Your head knows not to take on someone else’s troubles as your own, but when it comes to your close loved ones, they can sometimes sneak in and grapple with your emotions and suck you of your energy, with no intention at the time, as they know not what they do in most cases.
But this must be a constant surveillance on your part, to watch yourself that you do not get dragged into someone else’s dramas. Its not bad or good if your do or don’t, as with any lessons, they will be meet and learnt in all Gods timing and plan.
One of the reasons it continues to happen is for our spiritual practise, to learn to discriminate between compassion and falling into trap of pity.
Here are a few quotes from Shirdi Sai Baba, on how to deal with these lessons …
“If you avoid rivalries and bickering, God will protect you.”
“Return not evil. Return good for evil. Others, words cannot harm you”.
“Love all creatures. Do not fight with any. Do not retaliate nor scandalise any. When any one talks of you, that is, against you, pass on unperturbed. His words cannot pierce into your body. Others’ acts will affect them alone and not you.”

Re: Watch yourself!
Thoughts from the Masters. These quotes could just as easily be heard coming from Jesus or the Buddha. They are very uplifting. Thank you, Shiralee.

Re: Watch yourself!
Yes Jon ... Truth is Truth and each master has his or her own special unique way of delivering that Truth. That to me is confirmation that it matters not which path you walk on, you will still hear the Truth, and it also reminds us that their is always unity in Truth. There is no right or wrong path, there is only Truth.
