GREENPEACE campaign ~ save the Paradise Forests!
Dear friends, Your campaign to save Indonesia's rainforests, the climate and the orang-utans that live there, starts here. Watch this short video.
The palm oil industry is the problem.
We've made maps, videos and reports to identify the emergency facing the forests. Now we're turning to the company who needs to help stop the destruction: Unilever, the huge multinational corporation behind Dove soap and other household brands containing palm oil.
Unilever buys its palm oil from suppliers who destroy Indonesia's rainforests for their palm plantations, leading to further climate change and killing orang-utans and other endangered species in the process. By their own admission, Unilever is the biggest single user of palm oil in the world, which is why they can't wash their hands now of this problem. We mustn't let them.
A truly responsible company would not buy from suppliers who trash forests. But Unilever needs to be moved into action, which is what the international Dove campaign is about.
Come watch the 1-minute video and take action online today.
Thank you,
Eoin, Dietlind, Elaine, Tom, Giona, Daniel, Tim and all the forests campaign
Unilever, the makers of Dove beauty products, are buying palm oil from suppliers who destroy Indonesia's rainforests. We've got the proof. They're causing forest destruction, species extinction and climate change.
Together we can make the company stop destroying forests for palm oil.

Get this on Facebook etc
Isn't that awful. The makers of all the skin care and cosmetics still haven't worked out that they need to care for the environment and our skin - apart from what's happening in this video, they put so many chemicals in their products...it's disgusting!
I used to distribute organic natural products that contained NO additives or preservatives. Problem is though they are expensive because they 1. dont have shelf life and can't be made in huge quantities and 2. are organically certified - which of course costs the company lots of money.
I'm putting this video to all my contacts on facebook - it seems to be the most effective communication these days to get stuff around quickly and to lots of people.
Well, I hope these people learn whatever karmic lesson it is they need to learn from putting crap in their products and destroying our environment!

Re: GREENPEACE campaign ~ save the Paradise Forests!
Thanks my darling for putting this up, it's a total waste and shame what we are doing to this planet and our animals in the name of "beauty" and all it really does is the reverse on all of us. We only have to realize that we are all "beautiful" inside and out, we are all different for a reason. Thanks for signing the petition and hopefully with our site involved we can add heaps more to the petition than if it was done one at a time.
