My friend's son Empty Update on Ben, my friends son - in need of healing

Post by Akindra Sun Jan 18, 2009 9:45 pm

Hi all

Thanks to those that have spared some healing thoughts for Ben - his father is a very good friend of mine and I am trusting that this process will, while maybe taking a long time, not stay too bad for too long, and that positives will keep coming to keep everyone involved in good spirits.

Here is an update from his dad.....

"Ben is doing a lot better in the past week or so he can now move his left arm and hand with a lot of control. His right arm has limited movements and a little control in his right hand at present. Still no movement in his legs but we are hopeful that it won’t be long. His spirit is high that he won’t be there for too much longer (we hope). "

My friend's son Empty Update on my friends son

Post by Akindra Fri Dec 19, 2008 10:26 pm

Had lunch with my friend yesterday. His son Ben is still in hospital, with only movement in his eyes. The doctors are thinking of trying some new treatment.

He went to a psychic who said she thought it was either not MS or something else on top of MS and that he would pull through in the end and have a good life.

Please continue to send thoughts of healing.

Thanks

Glenda

My friend's son Empty My friend's son

Post by Akindra Mon Dec 08, 2008 12:37 pm

I got this email from one of my best friends at work today - made my situation seem a little lame!! lol

I asked if he wanted me to ask for healing and he said yes, so here is the situation, in his words:-

My life has turned upside down too, My son Ben who lives in Canberra was diagnosed with MS about 3 months ago a few days before his 19th birthday. Since then he has been in and out of hospital and a month ago he was readmitted to the Canberra hospital and he has got worse each week. Last Friday I when down to see him and he was in a bad way he couldn't talk and had no movement in his legs and right arm and about 10% movement in his left arm and about 5% movement in his neck. Then last Saturday they put him in the ICU ward with a induce coma they then gave him Chemo (Mitozantrone) and a tracheotomy on Wednesday night. They gave him the drug to wake up last Thursday and he is still asleep he sometimes opens his eyes up but the lights are not on as yet and very little movement. They can't tell us anymore then that, they are at a lost why this is happening to him, its a wait and see game at the moment.

With grattitude
