CONNECTED
Fragile, floating hexagons,
a white sea of wish flowers
blown by God's breath.
I single out a flake
and am chilled
by
the
drift
of
its
descent-
cartwheeling, carefree.... one with its Source.
In humanity's ocean
each droplet is unique,
yet connected-
waves of flesh and blood,
warm saline souls-
salt shaken by the Maker.

Re: Connected
Ahhh my master of poetry, Jon, you get my juices for poetry flowing, and I drool at your expertise of annalogy and intriquite deepth of meanings within your words. It so makes me want to put pen to paper myself and allow the divne to flow through me as it is you.
The way you float the words down, to reprent the snow fake itself as it falls from the sky, so clever.
I felt the connection to you, to all, to life as a whole, as I read this poem. I saw that drop of water you were merging with the drop of water that I am, and we then merged with the rest of the wave, and the wave merged into the Ocen of Divine Bliss as we became whole, we became ONE.

Thank you, dear. And, as you say, "Thank God," for it is true; He illumines the page through this little dream of His. Namaste my dearest sister........
