Songs of recent years

Here i make a topic for mentioning songs of recent years, though it seems that the music of recent years is mostly not attracting me and i didn't use to listen to newer music often (only when i had to go to a company, i heard it more often, because it was on the radio there). Yet the next few seem to be the best ones as far as i have heard. The last 2 are from Dutch artists, the first one i don't know. The song of Anouk i may heard enough for now and on 1 or 2 moments it may sound somewhat like a scream, but one can hear for themselves if they like it.

Isn't it interesting the different music you hear in different countries - I've never heard any of these songs or their singers. (Except I have heard of the Supremes).

I heard your mentioned song earlier and a moment ago again. Not sure if i like it, maybe if i hear it some more. Based on this song, i may know another song you could like. I think of putting that song in a new topic for Rock songs.

By the way, it's been a while since i posted. There could be several reasons for that. Anyway, i was also busy in finding the best fitting new laptop for me and i got a beautiful one from Dell now (Studio 1745). I also have internet on my own laptop now

Are you feeling happy in your new home? What made you move from the other place to this one?

I like songs where the words have some meaning for me.

I moved house because I purchased a house instead of renting - which is actually cheaper than renting here at the moment if you get a cheap house to buy! Am getting motivated now that I am more settled to get the garden going - but not much time with work etc.

The song i had in mind for you in the first place, is not on youtube i saw.
I expect to start the new topic (Rock songs) soon, where i mention a list that i have made, but i probably add more before i place the link here. Maybe i also try to put the best ones on top of the list then.
