LET GO ~ LET GOD

Let us put all our focus on Surrendering all control over to God. It is not as easy as it ever sounds of course. One tends to say it, mean it, and let it go, but seem to take it all back again before God has had a chance in His timing to fix the problem or situation that you surrendered to Him. Try and focus on this today as you go through your day ... take note of everything being God's doing, as soon as you find yourself to be the doer, it is time to release and surrender it all back to God again. I found this simply little poem that elaborates this exercise so well... I love you

Let Go ~ Let God

As children bring their broken toys
with tears fo us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God,
because He was my friend.
But then, instead of leaving Him,
in peace, to work alone;
I hung around and tried to help,
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back and cried,
"How can you be so slow?"
"My child," He said,
"What could I do?
You never did let go."
