Spiritual Food for Peace... Dscn3911

Here is some beautiful spiritual food that I would love to share from 'Stillness Speaks'
by Eckhart Tolle..... enjoy....

aum
Suffering begins when you mentally name or label a situation in some way as 'undesirable' or 'bad'...
Start practising "not naming" with small things...

Through habitual mental judgement &emotional contraction, you have a personalised,
reactive relationship to people & events in your life.

"The thoughts I am thinking right now are making me unhappy."
This realization breaks your unconcious identification with those thoughts.

..."What a miserable day..."
..."He didn't have the decency to return my call..."
..."She let me down..."
......These are just little stories we tell ourselves & others, often in the form of complaints.
Your interpretations, the stories you tell yourself make you unhappy.
Much suffering, much unhappiness arises when you take each thought
that comes into your head for the truth.

Bring your attention to your breathing and REALISE
that you are not doing it... If you had to remember to breathe,
you would die.... and if you tried to stop breathing,
nature would prevail.

AUUUMMM... yum yum yum..
Thank you Gody..
