EPISTEMOLOGY
You've watched me from a place unknown to most.
They see it miles away and not within.
Like Perry White, who cried "Great Caesar's Ghost!"
I also court frustration 'midst the din
of mental mists that finds me too engrossed
in reason, which has oft become the yin;
the yang in need of being diagnosed
could be the faith sequestered in chagrin.
Regrettably, there is no smart riposte
to help dispel confusion that has been
arising here--so I'll propose a toast
to wisdom, giving it a different spin:
When searching for the Truth, please be advised-
it may take lifetimes to be realized.

Re: Epistemology
What a way with words … I keep saying that, but its like your ability to express your loves, your pains, your sorrows, your grief, your confusion, your doubts, your joys, your peace, your state of being in your now… whatever it is you wish the reader to see, to get deep inside of you, and really understand the anguish or the joy or grief of the words expressed, you do so with style and grace.
The anguish I feel in this poem, of the frustration in the lesson of patience. I know and understand the entirety of what you say, I have indeed experienced such depths of frustration in having to ride the waves of the egos wayward mind trying desperately to gain control as the power slips from its grasp, as the ego fights for the right to remain in the power that it stole.
Wonderful use of words ... wonderful expression ... wonderful Jon.
